Crash diorama: Red Bull RB16b - Max Verstappen 2021, crash at Copse in the first lap of the 2021 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, scale 1:18 More

Unique diorama of Max Verstappen’s crash from first lap of the 2021 British Grand Prix.

The diorama captures the moment after hitting the barrier at Copse turn, when Max climbs out of the cockpit as the doctors and track marshals arrive.

In the first lap of the 2021 British Grand Prix, a dramatic collision occurred between Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. The two drivers were battling wheel-to-wheel for the lead when Hamilton’s front-left tire made contact with the rear of Verstappen’s Red Bull. Verstappen lost control of the car and crashed into the barriers at high speed (over 250 km/h). The impact was estimated at more than 51 G, which is an extremely strong force. The car was heavily damaged, and Verstappen had to retire from the race. He was taken to the hospital for checks but fortunately did not suffer any serious injuries. The incident sparked controversy and divided opinions among fans and teams. Hamilton received a 10-second time penalty but still went on to win the race. This crash became one of the defining moments in their battle for the 2021 world championship.

The basis is a diecast model of Red Bull RB16b, customised according to records and photos from the accident.

Quality handwork. The model and accessories are mounted firmly on a base and equipped with an acrylic display case.
