The diorama captures the moment after impact with the barriers in the Eau Rouge and Raidillon turn, where the car came to a stop on the track and Lando is seen climbing out of the cockpit as the track marshals arrive.

During the Q3 of qualifying at the 2021 Belgian Grand Prix, Lando Norris found himself in very challenging track conditions. In heavy rain, he lost control of his McLaren, which skidded, hit the barriers, and bounced back onto the track several times. The impact was severe, but the car’s safety features prevented any serious injuries. Norris remained in the cockpit for a moment before exiting on his own. Track marshals and medical personnel arrived at the scene immediately. The session was suspended with a red flag. The incident raised concerns about driver safety in extreme weather conditions. Norris was taken for a medical check-up, which confirmed he was unharmed

The basis is a diecast model of McLaren MCL35M, customised according to records and photos from the accident. 

Quality handwork. The model and accessories are mounted firmly on a base and equipped with an acrylic display case.
