Renault R23 - F. Alonso 2003, crash on Brazilian GP, 1:18

Fernando Alonso's unique diorama at the Brazilian Grand Prix in Interlagos in 2003. In the 54th round of the race, Alonso communicated via a walkie-talkie on free tyres for another stint and did not notice the yellow flags signaling Mark Webber's accident just a few seconds before him. Fragments of Webber's Jaguar were on the track, and Alonso ran just one torn rear tyre at 270 km/h, which his car immediately directed into the tyre barrier, which then bounced off the opposite part of the track into the concrete wall. Alonso suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for observation.

The accident was followed by red flags and subsequently the race was interrupted and did not start. In the final classification of the race, Alonso finished in 3rd place, but could not participate in the podium ceremonies.

The basis is a die-cast model car Renault R23 from the manufacturer Hot Wheels, customized exactly according to the records and photos from the accident.
