Williams Renault FW16 - Ayrton Senna 1994, crash at San Marino Grand Prix, 1:18 More

A unique diorama of Ayrton Senna's accident, capturing the moment that millions of fans hoped for. The diorama is based on reality (the accident itself in the Tamburello turn) and on fiction (Senna himself emerges from a damaged race car).

The motive for making this diorama was a utopian idea, which reflects the tragic accident of the legendary Senna in Imola 1994.

Brazilian Ayrton Senna was a three-time world champion and one of the fastest Formula 1 drivers. In 1994, he moved from McLaren to Williams. In the third race of the season in San Marino, Italy, he started from pole position, but in the fifth lap he unexpectedly slipped, crashing into a wall in a Tamburello turn. He succumbed to head injuries shortly after the accident.

The basis of the diorama is a resin model car Williams FW16, modified according to photos and videos from the accident.

Quality handwork. The model is mounted on a base and comes with an acrylic display case.
