The french team Alpine has been in F1 since 2021. This is a team that has competed in the past as Renault, Lotus or Benetton. The name of the team is identical to the name of the sportscar brand owned by Renault car manufacturer.

In the 2021 season, they won the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest, thanks to Esteban Ocon. The predecessor, team Renault, failed to acchieve GP victory from 2016, when they joined F1 as a factory team. Currently, the drivers of this team are the frenchman Eesteban Ocon and the spaniard Fernando Alonso.
