Valentino Rossi drove a Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton
In december 2019 on track Ricardo Tormo in Valencia met Lewis Hamilton and Valentino Rossi to Exchange their „machines“. The event was organized by the sponsor of both of the drivers, producer of engergy drink Monster Energy.
Valentino Rossi was driving monopost Mercedes AMG Petronas W08 from 2017, with which the team secured the constructors title and Hamilton his 4th title of world champion. In return Hamilton tried motocycle Yamaha MotoGP YZR-M1, that Rossi raced only a few weeks before this event.
Similar events, where the greatest personalities of F1 and MotoGP are met is really rear, and a fortiori if they are multiple world champions. In memory of this event Minichamps issued the model of Mercedes with Rossi in scale 1:18 limited edition 804 pcs and we can look forward to the release of motorcycle and figure, Hamilton on Yamaha soon.
