Why is it good to pre-order?
Model cars are only produced in limited numbers. Here, we are not primarily referring to the few dozen special limited series, but to the fact that, for example, Minichamps produced a few thousand of Verstappen's 2023 car, which may sound like a lot at first, but if this number is to be distributed to all the collectors worldwide, then it no longer seems to be so many. If a streak has run out, it's over, it´s not possible to order it anymore. In most cases, the manufacturers will not produce the same car again, and in this case they can only be purchased from the online marketplaces (e.g. ebay, catawiki, facebook marketplace). And many neppers on online marketplaces specialize in offering discontinued models at higher prices to desperate collectors. Why take on this headache when we can secure things in advance?
The good thing about pre-ordering is that you don't have to worry about whether the model car you want will be available. It is true that the customer does not receive it immediately, but he does not have to fear that it will be sold out before he can order it after its release. It is worth thinking ahead and insuring ourselves. In addition, it is financially worth it, since for many models the pre-order price is slightly cheaper than the store price at the time of release.
How can I pre-order?
It is possible to pre-order on https://www.tibormodel.com/en/pre-order, where the cars, helmets and other accessories advertised by the manufacturers are listed. The process of pre-ordering is the same as when buying from the warehouse. You can also add the product to the cart on the list page or on the product data sheet, and then have the option to pay immediately or later.

At Tibormodel, we believe in mutual trust, so we reserve the option for the customer to decide whether to pay for the pre-ordered product immediately or only when it arrives at the warehouse. Of course, we send a reminder e-mail about the payment obligation, after which the buyer has 3 days to settle the invoice. If this does not happen, the pre-order will be canceled and the user will no longer be able to exercise the right to cash on delivery for the pre-order.
Additional important information
- We do not plan to advertise every single model car and helmet that manufacturers publish. For easier transparency, we primarily advertise the cars and helmets that are in greater demand. If you don't find something you are interested in among the pre-orders, but a manufacturer has already announced it, please contact us!
- Manufacturers are in a huge delay right now. We indicate the expected release date on each product sheet - which is provided by the manufacturer - but these should not be taken as certainty. These dates are indicative rather than factual. Please take this into account.
- Not all products in the pre-order category will be in stock later. So, it is not worth waiting that it will be available in the webshop later, because this is not self-evident. In addition, pre-orders also have a deadline until we can submit the requests to our suppliers. After the deadline or after the committed production quantity is full, we cannot provide the given model and the product data sheet will also be removed from the page.
- The cars and helmets in pre-order also appear in the search results, but we clearly indicate everywhere what is in stock and what can be pre-ordered.
