The Nürburgring-Nordschleife is one of the most famous racing tracks in the world, which has already hosted several motorsport classes. In the past, F1 races were held here on the "long" version including the Nordschleife, later only on the "Grand Prix" version. Jackie Stewart called this track "green hell". On the Nordschleife, Niki Lauda suffered an accident in 1976, James Hunt and many top drivers won here. It hosts truck races, 24-hour races, and a part is even open for public-tourist rides.
