Max Verstappen became a hero at the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix. In this action-packed race, which was marked by several incidents and safety car periods, Verstappen emerged victorious. He defeated his rival, Charles Leclerc, and his teammate, Sergio Perez.

Verstappen took the lead from Leclerc early in the race, but quickly received a five-second penalty for forcing his opponent off the track. Later, Leclerc overtook him, but Verstappen served the penalty during his first pit stop. Leclerc stayed out, but after a safety car period, Verstappen and other drivers were able to pit again. The crucial restart saw a battle between Leclerc and Perez, with Perez’s worn tires putting him under immense pressure.
