HANS is the name given to the drivers head and neck protection system, which was introduced in Formula 1 in 2003. In addition to seat belts, it is practically another safety aid that protects the rider in the event of a sharp impact. Like other safety features, HANS has undergone evolution and improvement, so there are currently several specifications available, mostly according to the type of motorsport in which it is deployed.
Chateubriand has released Pro, Sport II and Sport III versions under license.
HANS Sport III is the perfect addition to the collection for collectors of miniature helmets in a scale of 1:2. It is designed primarily for helmets from 2015 season.
