The traditional British team participated in the early F1, in 1959 at the Dutch Grand Prix, where one of their drivers was the famous Carroll Shelby. After several decades of absence from F1, the team returned in 2021, when the Racing Point team was renamed Aston Martin by the owner. Fans of motorsport do not need to introduce this traditional British team: everyone can imagine it in its typical dark green color in many motorposrt categories. Aston signed the four-time world champion, Sebastian Vettel for two seasons 2021 and 2022, with whom they achieved 2nd place at the 2021 Azerbaijan GP and later another 2nd place at the 2021 Hungarian GP, which was later withdrawn. Canadian Lance Stroll, son of team owner Lawrence Stroll, became Seb's teammate. Team started the 2022 season with a less competitive car, but thanks to improvements during season, they managed to work their way from last place to 7th place in the Constructors' Championship. The 2023 season they started with a strong performance, Alonso securing multiple podium finishes. From middle of season they start to struggle and dropped back with performance and finishing in 5th place in the constructors championship.
