Formula 1, abbreviated F1, is the royal discipline of motorsport. It is the world's most watched motorsport. F1 was founded in 1946, the first season started in 1950 and to this day, races are held every year from spring until december.

In F1, they compete with single-seater open wheel racing cars that are designed exclusively for this discipline on the basis of technical rules established by the FIA (Federation Internationale de l´Automobile). Teams compete with two cars and two drivers, but often have a test driver and a reserve driver. The team that scores the most points in the year becomes the constructors' world champion, and the drivers who has scored the most points becomes the world champion. The field currently consists from teams like McLaren, Alpine, Ferrari, Visa RB, Mercedes, Red Bull, Aston Martin, Williams, Haas and Sauber. World champions such as Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Max Verstappen, as well as very talented drivers such as Lando Norris, Daniel Ricciardo, Sergio Perez, George Russell, Pierre Gasly, Charles Leclerc or Carlos Sainz, race in these teams.
