The swiss driver had a very strong season in 1974, when he beat his teammate Niki Lauda and took 2nd place in overall drivers standing, only 3 points less than the world champion, Fittipaldi. Clay managed to win the German Grand Prix and score another 6 podium finishes this year.
The helmet is on a black plastic base, in an acrylic display case and a paper cover. The display case can be separated from the base, even the helmet as well.
Helmet has a openable visor. The acrylic cover has minor scratches.
